Workshop – Carol Griffin
2012 Saturday - 28th January Two Taster Sessions Price £25 9.30
- 12.00 or 1.30 - 4.00
You will learn how to prepare a copper blank, sift enamel and
fire it, then apply a design/decoration. You will complete at least 2 pieces. All materials, tools and aprons
and some findings supplied.
All students to wear covered strong shoes, ideally leather, not sandals or
pumps.
No previous experience required.

Patterns
An opportunity for begginers or those with some experience to develop basic
enamel skills to create at least 4 pieces. Techniques will include sifting, sgraffite, stencils, riso screens, masking,
embedding, wire work, decorative media. Items could include small panels, brooches, pendants, cuff links, key rings,
mobiles etc.
All equipment tools, materials and some findings included.
3D Enamels

Friday 27th January 10.00 - 4.00p.m.
Enamel does
not fade or worry about frost or sun, so it is ideal inside or outside the home. During this one day workshop
you will make items from copper foil, shape and form them, then apply liquid enamels to permanently brighten your home or
garden.
Items to take home, could include small flowers, butterflies, dragonflies, frogs, geckos, bowls and containers.
All equipment, tools and limited materials included.
Suitable for all ages and abilities.
