Harris Taster Course Spaces are still available for January 2012
We can also prepare
a voucher if you want a lasting, super crafty Xmas present
Glass buyers extra!
You can always book yourself
in for a quick tour of Dial Glass Works (built in 1788). It helps if we know what you want to take away with you so
that we can have it in a neat parcel - we do gift wrapping and gift vouchers when requested .
We will
not be at the 2012 Stourbridge Annual Bead Fair at the Bonded Warehouse during the Biennale, instead we will stay at
the Dial. Our Gallery will be full of wonderful art works created by our customers and those from Tudor Crystal.
Take advantage of the stock clearance offers which will be available in January ---- WHY? Thieves
have ripped the lead off the roof for a second time - result - some days it looks as though we have Niagara Falls in
the warehouse and this plays havoc with cardboard boxes.
Please look at www.friendsofbroadfieldhouse - Graham Fisher MBE will be taking a guided walk along the Stourbridge canal and showing glass places of interest.
He has produced a book and now a DVD. We have the Book on sale for £12 - excellent value.
The next event organised by The Friends of Broadfield House Glass Museum will be on Saturday 28th January
2012 - Venue - the Museum,Barnet Lane Kingswinford. Time - 1.00p.m. Cost £5 - allproceeds
go towards purchases for the Museum or to assist with exhibitions. - There will be a fantastic new one for the Biennale and
the Friends are sponsoring the catalogue.
An afternoon at the Flicks - an opportunity to see some of the vast selection
of old videos on glass making. There will be an interval with ice cream, and at the end tea and biscuits.
Take
a look at the Glass Alchemy list if you work in borosilicate colours. We have a new web site being developed and this
will have the ever popular Alchemy Goblin to demonstrate the end colour.
Reichenbach
have been working overtime in their laboratory and have produced a dazzling array of new colours - View the list under the
Reichenbach heading.
2012 - Stourbridge will be celebrating 400 years of glass
making. Watch this space for details of things to come!
Plowden & Thompson will be opening their
Gallery for the festival - the call for pieces will go out before Xmas to give you time to prepare.

Tubing on the sale list - see offers.
