Beginners 2 day Course, Day 1 – with Pauline Holt 

No previous experience is necessary for this one-day course in making glass beads.  Lots of easy to understand demonstrations and lots of hands on experience.  Students will gain some basic knowledge about the equipment, studio set up and safety.  By lunchtime, each student will have made his or her first glass bead.  During lunch there will be a picture presentation to give students some inspiration.  In the afternoon students will learn how to decorate beads using coloured glass.

Day 2 (Intermediate Level 1 Course) - with Pauline Holt

This class is for students who have already attended the class for beginners and who have already made some basic glass beads.  There will be lots of demonstrations and hands on exercises.  The class will concentrate on making shaped beads, drawing with glass, use of frit and encasing beads.  During lunch there will be a picture presentation to give students some inspiration.
